About the fabric
Organic agricultural methods rely on crop rotation and the use of natural enemies such as ladybirds to eat insects instead of using toxic pesticides.
Organic cotton does not genetically modified organisms but seeks to build a biologically divers agricultural system, replenishing and maintain the soils fertility.
Growing organic cotton keeps farmers and their families safe. They are not exposed to toxic chemicals in the field or through their food and water supply.
Third-party certification organizations verify that organic producers use only methods and materials allowed in organic production.
Organic cotton is far more expensive to produce nevertheless it does not pollute and there is no over-production.
About the production
This blouse was sewn in our studio in Sesimbra out of our fabric scraps by the lovely Sofia.
